In the case of local North Okanagan homes, this Includes home visits with client, photography, sketches on site,, and finished drawing approved before I start the painting.
For out of town homes or working from photographs, I like to use several close up or distance photos for reference. In this case ,I work closely with clients to establish colours and details which may not show clearly in photos alone. This creates a painting which represents your "collective" memories of your home.
